No i is going anywhere. The official Sonic the Hedgehog social media team has confirmed that the entire master vocalism cast for Sonic and his friends is set to return to their roles for Sonic Frontiers.

During the Sonic Official livestream last nighttime, social media specialist Justin Thormann said he received confirmation of their render for the upcoming mainline Sonic championship. This comes confronting reports from earlier this year that the bulk of the characters were getting recast. While he didn't listing off every voice actor reprising their roles, he reassured fans who were worried nearly the recasting that Roger Craig Smith, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, and Cindy Robinson take come back to Sega's vocalization recording studio.

Robinson previously announced in February that she was retiring from her part equally Amy Rose in the form of a vague response to a fan on Twitter who asked if she was yet part of the cast afterward observing the apparent departures of other cast members. That group includes Smith, who announced in Jan that he was stepping downwardly from voicing Sonic only to spin dash back to it four months later.

In the latest trailer for Sonic Frontiers, fans heard a ghostly voice guiding the Blueish Blur abroad from danger, and they couldn't effigy out if it was Amy Rose or some other grapheme. Thormann cleared upwardly the confusion and confirmed that the voice was Amy'south, alluding to the captions that popped up on the Xbox version of the trailer.

Sonic Frontiers is slated for release vacation 2022 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Ane, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
